Karl began teaching as a substitute teacher at public schools. During the course of acting training, he had the opportunity to teach improv at a kids’ acting film school. During his training in stage combat, he developed an aptitude that primed him for a long term apprenticeship and eventual teaching.

• Year round Karl can be found teaching at national workshops and professional training programs focused on the art of stage combat and theatrical swordfighting.
