Karl began teaching as a substitute for Alameda Unified School District. While immersed in training as an actor, the opportunity to teach improv for kids and adults presented itself. During his stage combat training, he developed an aptitude that primed him for a long term apprenticeship which eventually led him to continue sharing this information as a teacher.
